Jaime is your Modern Adventure host, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip for everyone. She will be your go-to for any and all questions around our daily flow, meeting points, times, what to expect and any questions or concerns that may arise.

A self-described forever student and Wisconsin native, Jamie has traveled extensively throughout the world, and especially in Oceania. Some of her favorite recent experiences have been leading lava tube hikes on the Big Island of Hawaii, participating in an Alaska NOLS course, touring the Amazon in Brazil with their river dolphin conservation team (ARDCF), working with a horseback/camping outfit in Wyoming and guiding all over Kauai. She looks forward to meeting her future fellow explorers and making lifetime memories together!

Our local guides are experts in all things related to our destinations. Each guide is medically certified and carries the appropriate qualifications to hike throughout the French Alps. Our guides are here to ensure the group has an authentic experience while ensuring safety is a priority.

We travel with Anna Papuga, senior photo editor at Outside Inc. and Backpacker Magazine. She is a traveler and photographer at heart, photographing and exploring within the US and internationally from a young age. Anna originally hails from Chicago. She spent many years living in Southern California but now calls Golden, Colorado home. She aims to live a life full of travel, conservation, nature, hiking, backpacking, running and all things photography.
